Music

M & M Choir (Monday Morning Music and Ministry)- Comprised of Senior Citizens, who meet to sing and fellowship.  The group regularly visits shut-ins and the nursing home; spreading cheer to our St Luke friends.  The group enjoys lunch afterwards in a favorite restaurant.

Chancel Choir- Comprised of adults who present music weekly for the 11:00 worship.  The choir utilizes a wide spectrum of musical genres including sacred classical to contemporary.  The choir presents major works during the year.

Sanctuary Handbells- a group of auditioned adults who ring 3-4 difficulty music.  They present music in worship often.  The group participates in Area III ringing handbell festivals throughout the state.

Beginning Handbell Choir- This group is for adults who have a little or no experience in the part of handbell rining.  They study the techniques of the are of ringing and participate occasionally in worship.

St Luke Music Ministry- Comprised of youth in grades 6-12.  the group ring handbells and enjoys choral music.  They share their musical talents often with the congregation.

Childrens Choirs- The graded program of the childrens choir offers a group for all ages.  Group 1 ages 3-5 focus on learning how to use the voice with simple echo singing; enjoying musical instruments and musical play in an attempt to ready them for the next choir.  Group 2 grade K-2nd.  This coir continues to develop the voice and enjoys musical instrument including handchimes.  Group 3 grades 3-5.  The Jr. Choir has learned to use their voice with beautiful tone and contributes often to the worship service.  They enjoy English handbell ringing as well as ORFF instruments.

St Luke Theatre Guild- The theatre guild is comprised of an intergenerational group of members who present plays, dramas, and other meaningfully Christian drama ministry in the life of the church.

MusiCamp-is offered yearly to children ages 3-6th grade.  The week long program features music educators throughout the area who teach voice, guitar, handbells, music fun, drama and ministry, and ORFF instruments in a camp setting.  This highly popular event for area children hosts approximately 100 children each year.
